Join artist and teacher, Tracy Nzambi, to release your inner artist and create your own art on canvas,
you can paint an original gift to give this holiday. JUST bring your imagination! Everything you need will be supplied at no cost.
Suggested ages 5 to 14 (younger folks must be accompanied by an adult, please). Class will be approximately 1 – 1.5 hours long.

Amorak Nature Explorers!
Monday July 11th & 18th at 10am
Become a backyard scientist by exploring the habitats just outside your door. We will discover the amazing insects and plants in our local parks and waterways, and learn how scientists measure and record ecological information. Create your own field notebook that you can use to explore anywhere you go, from your backyard to a local trail! Open to ages 6 to 18!

Amorak At The Hyde!
Sunday July 31st from 2pm until 4pm
An introduction to art, to include a tour of The Hyde, learning about the history of the founders Louis and Charlotte Hyde, viewing the current exhibitions and then finishing with creating some art of your own to take home and share! Open to third grade ages up to 18!

Amorak Drum Circle
Sunday August 14th from 11am-12:30pm
A drum circle is an interactive engagement of rhythm and communication using African hand drums called Djembes. Open to ages 8 to 18!
Students will unleash their potential as a drummer and enjoy this fun and engaging activity! Facilitated and directed by Amorak Youth Board Member and music teacher, Teresa Dunn.
